Hegermonic Model vs Pluralistic Model

I believe both views have some truth to it, the hegermonic model offers a good idea about audiecnes being influenced alot by the media and to some extent it can be said to be true as there is evidence of the media influencing people, also i do think that audiences are becoming more passive as they are able to question the media, i do think that the media is powerful and has the ability to influence its audience, for example teenagers can be said to be influenced by the media they consume and the influence effects how they behave and how they dress. overall i am 50/50 about both.
